May I have your attention?

Such a polite question, until its actually a request made by a Fey needing to borrow your attention and take it away with him.

In the near yet far domain called Lotstoodoo, where things are constantly misplaced, rearranged, reimagined, or downright left to their own magically unregulated existence, something terrible has happened. The Archfey who was master of such a place, is gone. Their one trusted servant will go to great lengths to trick or steal some well-regulated attention so he can restore order to his beloved domain while he waits for the return of the Archfey.

Once the character’s attention has been aptly borrowed, a quest of wild shenanigans of the fey kind shall ensue, as each piece of a ritualistic puzzle can help the characters travel to the domain of Lotstoodoo and confront the trusted servant’s heartfelt trickery.

On the way, many things will occur. So many, in fact, that there’s no time to lose or we’ll all get bored.

Shall we begin?

How does this book teach about ADHD?

There are a few different ways that they have incorporated learning into the module.

Each side quest and associated NPC is specifically designed towards a single ADHD trait. This allows the players to see that trait in its entirety and think up ways to assist the NPC who is being overwhelmed by it.

There are monsters that tie into the ADHD traits. For example the blank page for the poet (starting a new task/project/thing that needs doing) which has a number of creative ways to be defeated. Potentially giving the poet creative lines to say. Alternatively, there is the Restless Brain that just can't manage to slow down and stop for a moment. There are numerous such creations which either are traits or link into traits to help players think outside the box.

Along side these are ten subclasses which can be used within or separate to this module where the traits have been built in to to account for certain ADHD traits each time.

For example: The Wizard will gain Shards by deliberately breaking concentration spells. These can then be used to enhance instant spells, making them more potent depending on the amount of shards used.

There are more options as well but they want to leave some as a surprise.

Why this book:

The creators  have ADHD and it took them until they was in their late 30's to realize because they did not have the standard checked & common symptoms. Then when it was realized, they then then faced stigma and/or dismissive attitudes.

Doing their own research and investigations, they realized that there is not only are there folk that have ADHD and don't know the less obvious symptoms, but also that neurotypical folk might be interested in learning more.
