Each Round of Hot Takes follows these simple steps:
- OPINIONS: The Host draws a card from the deck, revealing a spicy statement.
Players place their Opinion cards faceup and split into teams, ready to defend their positions.

DEBATING: Teams have 3 minutes to create and present their arguments, using their wits and creativity to sway the judge.

JUDGING: The Judge, impartial and wise, decides which team made the better argument and awards a point to each player on that team.
